OUR HISTORY

T2S was founded in 1984 by transport professionals to meet the needs of international transport companies, focusing primarily on exchanges between France and Italy.

Its first service was a subscription to the Alpine tunnels of Fréjus and Mont Blanc. Transport companies subscribing to the service benefit from special commercial terms.

To ensure growth and meet the increasingly demanding needs of trade within the European Union, T2S developed new services in the early 1990s, including the CAPLIS card for travel on French motorways and a Viacard subscription for travel on Italian motorways.

Still focused on providing a pragmatic response to its customers' needs, T2S created Consorzio T2S in 2004, a consortium dedicated to transport companies operating on Italian motorways, enabling its customers to benefit from the maximum discounts granted by the Italian state.

T2S enhanced its offer in 2005 by launching Trans Europea Servizi, a company specializing in VAT refunds within the EU. In 2007, the end of CAPLIS subscriptions and the opening of the interoperable toll collection market to private issuers enabled T2S to partner with Axxès, the key mobility player for transport companies.

T2S repositioned itself following the announcement of the Ecotax in 2013 to offer transporters an affordable, high-quality solution in a tense economic climate. Today, with over 30 years' experience supporting transport companies, T2S is developing its activities while listening to its customers and offering innovative mobility solutions.
